Environmental Support

We have effectively extended the lifespan of numerous products by donating our waste materials to the Children’s Scrapstore, who have re-used them as a creative resource.

These materials have been circulated to a network of children’s service providers and education establishments in support of around 150,00 children in their play and personal development.

Our Sales Director Mike Bristow delivered 4,000 cups to Operations Manager Charlie Mason at Fareshare Bristol.

“It is great to be able to offer a level of support to such a fantastic local charity who are working tremendously hard through these difficult and challenging times. We were made aware of Fareshare through Kai Harding our Finance Manager who as a family, have been working with this charity for one evening a week for the last seven years. FareShare South West, based in Bristol, was set up in late 2007 to work with community groups in and around Bristol city. They support over 170 organisations, including hostels, day centres, lunch clubs, addiction agencies, young people’s projects and refugee centres, in delivering a food service to those who need it most and giving support on nutrition, food hygiene and more.

If you want to find out more about the work of Fareshare please visit their website.

Charity Involvement

Niamh’s Next Step CharityAfter hearing about and meeting Niamh’s Next Step Charity and seeing the amazing work they were doing, we decided we must help. This charity was set up in Niamh’s memory in the hope of helping other families fighting the vile childhood cancer known as Neuroblastoma.

Neuroblastoma is an aggressive cancer that mainly affects children. Around 100 children are diagnosed with Neuroblastoma each year in the UK of which only around 30% will survive. There was initially no government or NHS funding to research this vile cancer that is killing young children.

As part of an awareness-based campaign, we designed and manufactured 100,000 paper cups which were distributed across the UK to our customers who own coffee and sandwich outlets.

It is our hope that with the added QR codes linked to external sites within Niamh’s Charity website, we can assist in raising awareness and create an easy way for donations to be made with a view of generating more funding for continued research.
